I got my 1st camera when I was 4 years old and have been photographing ever since. Currently, I live and work out of my studio near Davis Square in Somerville, MA.
In my photography, I employ a combination of classic methods and modern technologies.
I have always thrived on moving about the planet. During my travels as a musician and photographer, I always try to carry a small camera by my side to photograph my surroundings. Take a look here to see some.
I like photographing people. In the studio under the lights or outside in the elements, capturing the nature of a person in one frozen moment is my goal. The people button to the right will take you to a gallery of some portraits. Many of the people shown are Boston area artists and the images have been used for CD covers and promotional material worldwide.The technical challenges associated with shooting interiors, exteriors, aerial and night photos are also fascinating to me. I am happiest methodically watching the sun and weather, moving furniture, climbing on roofs, up ladders with cameras, strobes and compass in hand.
